Description

White, fragrant, conical flower spikes reaching up to 16" long, composed of hundreds of small, nectar rich flowers are produced throughout the growing season and are held against a foil of green to grayish green foliage. The flowers attract a myriad of pollinators including bees, butterflies, flower flies, and even the occasional hummingbird. White Profusion Butterfly Bush is a medium to large, deciduous to semi-evergreen shrub and may act like a die-back perennial freezing back to near ground level in the northern most portions of its range. An excellent choice for butterfly gardens. The fragrance of the butterfly bush is often most intense on warm summer evenings.
