Bloomify™ Red Lantana

The Bloomify™ Lantana series are the first certified sterile Lantana on the market. Bloomify™ Red Lantana produces rounded clusters of flowers that open yellow and fade through fiery orange to a deep red. These are compact and free flowering plants with a naturally rounded habit. Since they don't have to spend energy on ripening fruit they can spend much more time flowering. The compact habit of the Bloomify™ Red Lantanas make them an easy choice for containers or in the garden and landscape. Attracts butterflies and other pollinators.

Lantana are only second to Porterweed in our garden for their ability to attract butterflies! Lantana are loaded with flower power and normally flower continuously from late spring to frost. This durable and reliable perennial (where hardy) is moderately drought tolerant, deer resistant, salt tolerant, and is generally pest free. For the best results provide your Lantana with an average to well draining soil with average moisture in an area that gets 6 hours or more of sun per day. They can be cut back to near ground level in winter. Provide a protective mulch in winter where hardiness is questionable.
